North Point Mall in Alpharetta, off GA 400 at North Point Parkway, is anchored by Von Maur, Dillard’s, Macy’s and JCPenney, with an AMC 12 cinema and about 100 stores, restaurants and family attractions. A redevelopment plan approved in 2026 would replace most of it, but the mall is open for now.

Redevelopment: On August 24, 2026, the Alpharetta City Council voted 4 to 3 to rezone the mall for a mixed-use district by developer Jamestown built around a 20,000-seat arena, with apartments, a hotel, restaurants and shops. The approval depends on the owners landing an NHL franchise, and the plan would tear down most of the mall. The NHL has not committed to a team in Alpharetta, and the mall remains open.
