Planning Tips

Book Timed Tickets Early

Netherworld and some state park haunts, such as Fort McAllister and Hard Labor Creek, sell tickets by time slot. Late-October weekends are the busiest, so weeknights and early October are the easiest times to get in.

Match the Event to the Kids

Netherworld’s minimum age is 7 and Six Flags recommends Fright Fest for 13 and up. For younger kids, stick to daytime events like Boo at the Zoo, Haunted Seas trick-or-treating or the family hours at Hard Labor Creek.

Make a Day of It

Pair a haunt with a pumpkin patch or apple orchard. See our corn mazes and pumpkin patches, apple orchards and fall in Georgia guides.
