| Like many enclosed malls its age, Lakeshore has lost several longtime anchors over the years and has quieter stretches these days. Atlanta-based Branch Properties has announced a major mixed-use redevelopment of the 49-acre site, called simply Lakeshore, expected to break ground in late 2026 and open in phases through 2028, with a mix of retail, housing, and green space planned.
