9th Annual Mardi Gras Tybee - 2/25/17 at 12noon
The party features blues and rock music from 3 - 6 p.m. Thrilling street performances entertain revelers as they enjoy the festival and colorful businesses in the area. Enjoy Cajun food and fun on Tybee Island. The 2016 Mardi Gras Tybee Parade, with colorful floats, plenty of beads and marching bands, begins Saturday at 3 p.m. Handicapped Accessible event. St. Patrick's Kite Flying Jamboree - 3/4/17
Bring your favorite kite as the luck of the Irish blows in steady breezes for the Annual St. Patrick's Festival Kite Flying Jamboree at Springdale Baptist Church. This free family event fills the sky with bold color. Lucky the Leprechaun will visit, and snacks will be available for donation. Conyers St. Patrick's Day Parade - 3/17/17 at 4:30pm
Everyone's Irish for the day. This is a two-block walking parade, and everybody is encouraged to meet at the corner of Main and Center streets prior to 4:30 p.m. to join in this annual tradition. There is an annual crowning of children's St. Patrick's Day Parade king and queen and a Leprechaun Lookalike Contest at the conclusion of the parade. There are also complimentary Irish-themed refreshments at the Olde Town Pavilion. Following the parade is the 8th Annual World's Shortest Endurance Run sponsored by the Rotary Club of Rockdale County. The run, .1 mile in length from the Conyers Welcome Center to The Pointe on Railroad Street, begins with a shotgun start at 5 p.m. and participants who enter will receive a T-shirt. St. Patrick's Arts & Crafts Festival - 3/18/17 at 9am-6pm
Explore the best of Downtown Dublin during the Arts & Crafts Festival as live music, artisans, and food take center stage. Featuring live entertainment, petting zoo, play zone with pony rides, kid's beautiful landscaping, a huge dining pavilion and food court, guest information booths, and more, the Arts & Crafts Festival promises families a lively time! March 18 is Super Saturday and attendees can experience a day full of family-friendly activities, including the St. Patrick's Parade, Annual Tennis Tournament, and Leprechaun Road Race. Get those Irish eyes smiling as hundreds of floats take to Jackson Street and Bellevue Avenue for the ultimate celebration of Irish pride. Be sure to wear your green and get ready to frolic! Watch the kids go crazy as handfuls of candy are thrown their way during this festive parade. Wave at all the frilly green floats as "Lucky" the leprechaun makes his way into town surrounded by floats full of creativity as they make their way through Downtown Dublin. Night Eggstravaganza - 4/7/17 at 6:30-9pm
Arrive early for a hot dog supper, fantastic egg games and the petting coral. Begin with competition games: egg tossing and ribbon runs for ages 10 to adult. Visit the animals in the petting coral. Bring your basket and flashlight for a candy egg hunt separated by age: up to 3 yrs, 4-6 yrs, and 7-9 yrs. Cost is $5 for ages 3-9, ages 10 and up are free. $5 vehicle parking fee. 29th Annual Magical Easter Eggstravaganza - 4/8/17 at 8am-5pm
The Cabbage Patch Kids invite you to their home on 650 acres in the Georgia mountains. The exciting atmosphere is positively blooming. The hospital staff has a day of activities planned, including breakfast with the Easter Bunny, a Cabbage Patch Kid's Easter Bonnet Contest for all ages, dancing with Cabbage Patch Kid costume characters, hourly prize drawings and more. Blue Ridge Scenic Railway Easter Egg-spress - 4/8/17 at 10am-6pm
This activity-filled, fun train ride with the Easter Bunny is a real treat for the kids. Bring your Easter basket, and we will travel a few miles to Farmer Brown's field to hunt for Easter eggs and to greet the Easter Bunny. Always held the Saturday before Easter, the Boston Spring Fling features a parade, arts and crafts, an auction, an Easter egg hunt and more. Sponsored by the Boston Community Club, the day starts at 9 a.m. with arts and crafts vendors set up on Main Street.
