Red, White & Blues on the Bluff - 7/3/15 at 5-10:30pm
Bring your food, lawn chairs, and blankets so you can relax in the breeze of the Darien River while enjoying music by The Bushmen and fireworks at dark. The gates open at 5 p.m. and the entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. There will be a limited number of food vendors on the grounds. Annual Independence Day Concert & Picnic - 7/3/15 at 6-9pm
Summer in Madison would not be complete without this free celebration featuring live patriotic music by Georgia's longest operating community band, the Athens Classic City Band. Bring a picnic, blankets, tables or chairs and join family and friends for the festivities. Music begins at 7 p.m., but come early to grab a spot on the lawn or rent a table from the Center for $20 each. Don't forget to decorate your table; prizes will be given for "Most Patriotic" table decorations. The Annual Independence Day Concert ends at dusk and is followed by professional fireworks presented by the City of Madison at Heritage Park. This is truly a fun-filled evening for the entire family! The Haunting of Blackbeards' Island - 10/24/15 at 6:30-9pm
