Earth Day 
Mother's Day with Mother Nature - 5/13/17 at 9am-12noon
Do something different from the usual Mother's Day dinner. Bring your mom out to the park for a day of service and fun. We will begin in the park's flower beds picking out undesirables. Then, we will go on a hike on Big Creek Nature Trail. When we return, we will plant some seeds to take home and begin the baked goods potluck. Free fun event! $5 parking fee. Memorial Day Event - Rolling Stones Tribute Band - 5/27/17 at 7-11pm

Memorial Day Duckie Race - 5/27/17 at 2pm
We're kicking off summer at Chatt Bend with the 3rd annual Duckie Race. Check in at the visitors center for directions to the stream. Race starts at 2 p.m. Winners will receive a prize. Memorial Day Scavenger Hunt and Hike - 5/28/17 at 10am-12noon
Wear your patriotic colors and let's look for the hidden treasures. This will be an exciting 2 hour scavenger hunt around the park. You must take a photo of you with each of the items. You can work as individuals or teams, but everyone must be pictured with the treasures. Maybe you can find Boston? Costs are $5 per person and $5 parking fee. The 4th Annual Memorial Day Weekend Silver Comet Trail Bike Ride - 5/28 - 5/29/17
Join us for the 4th Annual Memorial Day Weekend Silver Comet Trail Bike Ride presented by the Cycology Bike Shop and The Dave Krache Foundation. Memorial Day Commemoration - 5/29/17 at 11am-3pm
This coastal fort will present hourly Revolutionary War soldier talks and musket and cannon demonstrations. Visitors may explore the site and find its Hidden Gem. The beautiful vista from the earthen fort, over the Medway River and out through St. Catherine's Sound, is a view that has changed very little over hundreds of years. Handicapped Accessible event.
