We're kicking off summer at Chatt Bend with the 3rd annual Duckie Race. Check in at the visitors center for directions to the stream. Race starts at 2 p.m. Winners will receive a prize. Experience a bit of Bavaria while you and your family enjoy this Memorial Day weeked celebration at the Festhalle! A live Oompa Band, dancing and a festive Bavarian atmosphere help us honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Wear your patriotic colors and let's look for the hidden treasures. This will be an exciting 2 hour scavenger hunt around the park. You must take a photo of you with each of the items. Join us for the 4th Annual Memorial Day Weekend Silver Comet Trail Bike Ride presented by the Cycology Bike Shop and The Dave Krache Foundation. Memorial Day Commemoration - 5/29/17 at 11am-3pm
This coastal fort will present hourly Revolutionary War soldier talks and musket and cannon demonstrations. Visitors may explore the site and find its Hidden Gem. The beautiful vista from the earthen fort, over the Medway River and out through St. Catherine's Sound, is a view that has changed very little over hundreds of years. Handicapped Accessible event. Bring your family for a fun day of patriotic celebration to Senoia's 10th annual Memorial Day Remembrance & Festival. Entertainment begins the program at 10 a.m. There will be an assortment of antiques, crafts and food. Patriotic program begins at 12 noon. The parade featuring the 116th Army Band begins at 2 p.m. There will be a moment of silence at 3 p.m. and a mini concert by the band. End the day with a fireworks display at dark at Marimac Lakes.
