Hometown Christmas - 12/13/2012 at 3-9 pm
Downtown restaurants will serve delicious dinners by candlelight and specialty shops will be open at 3:00pm with Open House bargains to complete each and every shopping list. At 5 pm, the Warrenton Garden Club will present the annual Tree-Lighting Service in front of our historic courthouse. Afterwards, Santa will arrive and folks will be swayed by the music permeating through the downtown streets. Cauldrons will be set up along Main Street to roast marshmallows, and horse-drawn carriage rides and hay rides tour visitors through the residential winter wonderland of illuminated streets to view the holiday-decorated homes. Traditional artisans will be showing off their handmade wares and demonstrating their craft, while photo opportunities abound in the charming downtown area.
