Down Home Christmas - 12/4/09
The town is decorated and the light parade, at night, is something to see. This is a spectacular evening. The Star on the mountain is lit, at the end of the parade, to remind us all the true meaning of the Christmas Spirit. Don’t forget to see Santa who always comes to Ringgold. Santa will be at the Historic Ringgold Depot for photos.

Christmas Candlelight Tour - 12/5/2009 at 6:30-9:30 pm
Kick off the Christmas season with a 19th-century celebration including decorations, caroling, music and refreshments typical of the 1820s Cherokee Nation Capital. Grab your candle lantern and dress for a ¾-mile outside walk through the historic grounds and buildings. $3.50-$5.

Festival of Trees - 12/5/09 at 8 am - 1 pm

Cartersville Century Bike Ride - 6/26/10 at 8 am - 4 pm
Registration begins at 6 a.m. (pre-register for T-shirt), Ride begins at 8 a.m. Join more than 800 participants from across the southeast in this popular Century Ride benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bartow County. T-shirt, snacks and lunch provided with registration. Ride includes 15, 30, 55-mile and century options. Three Mile Thrill fun family ride for all ages goes by Etowah Indian Mounds State Historic Site. Barnsley Gardens is a featured rest stop on other routes. Ride is fully sagged with R&R every 10-15 miles along the route. $30 fee.
