Okefenokee Swamp Park Annual Light Show - 12/20 - 12/30/14
This festive wilderness light show is enjoyed by young and old alike, and has become an annual tradition for many. Bring a blanket or afghan and snuggle on the trains as they make their way along a 1.25-mile rail at the Okefenokee Swamp Park in Waycross, where thousands of lights and numerous outdoor displays can be viewed. Kiddies also can ride a miniature train just for little ones. Then, walk through the park and enjoy a meal or snacks (including gator tail) at the Peach Pit Snack Shack. Tickets go on sale after 4:30 p.m. each evening and are first-come, first-served. Last train of the night is at 9:00 p.m. Cost is $6-$10 per peson.
