Paddle to Minnie's Shelter - 4/16 & 4/30/14 at 10am-2pm
For the more adventurous visitors, join us for an 8-mile round trip paddle that will take us from the park to Minnie's Lake Shelter. Learn about some of the plants and animals that inhabit the swamp along the way. The trip will be led by 2 ACA-certified guides. Pack a lunch. Sign up 48 hours in advance. Moderate difficulty. Canoeing with the Stars - 4/18/14 at 7-9pm
Bring your family and friends for a guided canoe trip beneath the moonlit sky as we paddle our way down to Shark Tooth Sandbar. Feel free to bring food, outdoor games and more, but remember to leave no trace of our stay by the end of the night. Reservations required. $20 per person and $5 parking fee. 6th Annual Kingsland Easter Egg Hunt - 4/19/14 at 10-11am
The Kingsland Police Department will host the Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your children,, a bag or basket, and don't forget the camera! Early Bird Walking Tour of the Landmark Historic District’s East Side - 4/19 & 4/26/14
Take an early morning walk through one of the oldest and most varied neighborhoods to learn how historic preservation has revitalized downtown Savannah. Tours led by the Davenport House director will introduce the personalities, structures and issues that have enthralled Savannah's preservation movement. Magnificent Marsh Kayak Trip - 4/26/14 at 1-4pm
What better way is there to experience the marshes around Crooked River than to kayak? This low-tide, four-mile loop paddle is great for beginners.
