 Lake Sidney Lanier is well known for its recreational opportunities. The Corps operates 46 park areas around the lake providing, picnicking, campgrounds, boat launching ramps, swimming areas, group picnic shelters and hiking trails. Additional areas have been leased from the Corps and are operated as city and county parks as well as marinas.

Amenities include a boat launch ramp, fishing, playground, swimming beach, a dump station, potable water, laundry facilities, free life jacket use program, accessible restrooms with hot showers. Nearby: Gas, Propane, Public Marina and Store Alerts and Important Information:  Openmid-April through early September. Call for dates. Directions: 400 north to Hwy. 136, turn right, turn right at stop sign, turn left before crossing the bridge. Road ends at the park. |
