The Hall County Farmers Market has been selling locally grown produce and handmade goods in Gainesville since 1973. Everything is sold by the people who grew or made it, so you can ask the farmer about this week’s tomatoes in person.
The market runs rain or shine from June through October at its open-air shed off Jesse Jewell Parkway near I-985. It accepts SNAP/EBT; see the market’s website for how it works.

What You’ll Find
Vendors change from season to season, but expect eggs, okra, cucumbers, tomatoes, beans, squash and peppers in summer, plus honey, candles, homemade baked goods and crafts. Cool-weather greens come in early, tomatoes and peppers peak in July and August, and pumpkins and fall produce arrive in September. The market’s website lists the current vendors and special events.
