Guido Gardens in Metter, Georgia

Guido Gardens is a free prayer garden in Metter, about 2 miles off I-16 at Exit 104, built by the Guido Evangelistic Association at the home of the long-running Sower broadcasts. Waterfalls, fountains, streams and shaded paths surround the glass-walled Chapel in the Pines, and the grounds are open daily with no admission charge.

Refresh youself in the cascading waterfalls, shimmering streams, flowering plants, tall trees, quiet paths and The Chapel In The Pines. It. has become a well-known source of restoration for thousands of visitors each year. People come to the Gardens for peace and solitude where they discover an opportunity to be quiet and reflect of the marvels of God’s creation. Adjacent to Guido Gardens is the Sower Studio, the TV taping home of "The Sower". Call ahead to ask whether studio tours are offered.

Nights of Lights (Ended in 2023)

For more than 30 years, from 1991 through 2023, Guido Gardens put on a free Christmas show called Nights of Lights, with nearly two million lights, animated displays and a nativity scene narrated by the voice of The Sower, Dr. Michael Guido. The Guido Evangelistic Association ended the show after its December 2023 season, so there is no Nights of Lights display now. Garden Etiquette

Enjoy yourself. Dress appropriately for the outdoors, wear closed-toe shoes, and bring insect repellent, sunscreen, and water. Be respectful. Stay on paths and avoid flower beds. Do not pick leaves or flowers from plants. Keep voices low to experience the sounds of the Garden.

(The bridge crossing the interstate at this exit was recently named the Michael Guido bridge.) The Gardens are approximately 2 miles from the exit. Go straight into town, and through one stop light and one caution light. Go four more blocks and you will see the entrance to the gardens on the right. (As a landmark, you will see the town's water tower with the words "Home of the Sower" on it across the street.)
