Best Christmas Lights in Magnolia Midlands (Statesboro, Dublin, Vidalia)

Georgia's Magnolia Midlands region, covering Statesboro, Dublin, and Vidalia in the southeastern part of the state, keeps its holiday season community-focused, with small-town tree lightings, parades and Christmas markets.

TMT Farms Christmas Lights (Closed)

No longer running: TMT Farms, north of Statesboro, ended its two-mile, donation-based drive-through light display after the 2025 season. The Thompson family announced December 27, 2025 as the final night after more than 25 years, so there is no TMT Farms display in 2026. The community events below are this region’s holiday options now.

Downtown Statesboro's Tree Lighting

The City of Statesboro holds a free Christmas Tree Lighting at the Downtown Statesboro Art Park in late November, with hot cocoa, cookies, and carols. The separate Vyve Holiday Celebration downtown adds a golf cart parade, vendors, live music, and a hayride.

Dublin's Christmas Parade and Market

What it is: A nighttime Christmas parade through Dublin's historic districts, plus a weekend Christmas market

Dublin's Christmas Parade, run by the Exchange Club of Dublin, is a nighttime event in early December that stretches more than a mile through the Bellevue and Downtown Historic Districts. A Downtown Dublin Christmas Market follows that same weekend with local vendors, crafts, and baked goods.

Vidalia's Tree Lighting and Christmas Parade

Vidalia holds its Tree Lighting at Ronnie A. Dixon City Park in early December, followed by a Christmas Parade a few days later and a Late Night Shopping event downtown. All three are free, community-oriented events centered on downtown Vidalia.

These are single-evening events: Unlike a multi-week light show, most of this region's events (the parades and tree lightings) happen on one specific night, so check each town's calendar closely.

For more on this region, see the Magnolia Midlands travel region page.

Is TMT Farms Christmas Lights still open?
No. The drive-through display near Statesboro closed permanently after its final night on December 27, 2025.

Are the Magnolia Midlands Christmas events free?
Yes, the Statesboro, Dublin and Vidalia tree lightings and parades are free community events; each happens on one evening, so check the town’s calendar for the date.
