Blalock Reservoir in Clayton County
Size: 260 acres Fish: Bass, bream, channel catfish and crappie
Lake Facilities: Picnic tables, a boat ramp and restrooms. The area is handicap accessible.
Fee: Daily fee or season pass Open: Open all year
Restrictions and regulations: Boats 16 feet or less with electric motors only are allowed.
A user fee is charged. Boats 16 feet or less with electric motors are allowed. There is no swimming or camping. The lake is open from dawn to dusk from Wednesday through Sunday. No alcoholic beverages allowed.

Fee: Daily fee or season pass is charged. Open: March thru October from dawn to dusk from Wednesday through Sunday.
Restrictions: Electric motors only. This lake is designed as "a fishing hole for kids." An adult must be accompanied by at least on child 12 years old or younger to fish in the lake. Boats 16 feet or less with electric motors are allowed. There is no swimming or camping. No alcoholic beverages allowed.

Stone Mountain Park Lakes in DeKalb County
Size: 2 lakes, 37 acres and 350 acres Fish: Bass, bream, catfish and crappie. The larger reservoir provides year round fishing for crappie, largemouth bass and bluegill.

Open: All year on larger lake, smaller lake (pay lake) open from March through October
Restrictions: Boat motor size restricted to 10 HP or less on large lake; NO boats allowed on small lake. This lake is open to private boats, with a horsepower restriction, and rental boats on weekdays and most weekend days. Some restrictions exist concerning the use of private boats from May until September. The smaller lake (Lake Venable) is open on a small fee basis from March through October. Private boats are not allowed on this lake, but rental boats are available.

Sweetwater Creek State Park in Douglas County
Size: 215 acres Fish: largemouth bass, crappie, catfish, and bream
Lake Facilities: Rental boats, bait, tackle, refreshments, canoes, picnic shelters, group shelter. This lake is also often referred to as George Sparks Reservoir. Brush-type shelters are positioned near the shorelines to attract fish into areas where they can be caught by bank fishermen.
Fee: $5 parking fee Open: All year 7:00am - 9:45pm
Restrictions: Private boats allowed, electric motors only with launch fee
Private boats are allowed, but with restrictions.

Fee: No special fees. Fishing license required. Open: All year during Thursday through Sunday, from sunrise to sunset.
Restrictions: Boats may use electric motors only, no trailering in of boats allowed. Special creel and size limits apply: bream (no length limit, creel limit 25), bass (12 inch size limit, creel limit 5), and catfish (8 inch size limit, creel limit 5).
