Amenities:  The Jasper County Recreation Department offers a variety of athletic activities for children as well as adults.  Some of those activities offered include baseball, football, softball, soccer, cheerleading and more. 
Youth Baseball & Softball
Sign-up: - Last two weeks of March 
Season begins: - 3rd week in April and continues through the middle of June 
Tournaments: - start the last week in June through the 3rd week of July 
Fees: - $40.00/per person baseball $36.00/per person softball 
Youth Cheerleading, Football & Soccer 
Sign-up: December 1 through the last day of school before the Christmas break 
Season begins: 2nd Saturday in January and ends the 2nd Saturday in May 
Fees: - $30.00/per person
Adult Softball Teams
Team sign-up: - 2nd week in September only 
Season begins: - 3rd week in September and ends the week before Thanksgiving 
Tournaments: - no adult team tournament 
Fees: - $350.00 per team 
Westview Park 
Within walking distance of historic downtown Monticello
Amenities:  Swing set area - picnic table and play station for children.
