Three Sisters Vineyards is a 180-acre family farm winery in the hills outside Dahlonega, and it bills itself as the town’s founding wine grape grower and first family farm winery. It is a laid-back stop for estate-grown wine, mountain views and a slushie on a hot afternoon.
The rustic tasting room centers on a hand-crafted cherry wood bar, and a stone patio and sunny deck look out over the vines toward the mountains. Fat Boy Red is the best-seller, and the list runs from dry reds to Dahlonega Gold, an ice-style dessert wine. It is still a working farm, so expect tractors and vineyard work in season.

Events & Weddings
The winery hosts weddings and private events. Three Sisters once held the Georgia Wine Country Festival on June weekends; we could not confirm a recent edition, so check with the winery for this year’s events and live music.
Make a Day of It
Dahlonega has several more wineries and tasting rooms within a short drive, plus the Dahlonega Gold Museum on the historic square. Please plan a designated driver.
