| Produce and More - Through the growing season, Minter's Farm offers squash, cucumbers, sweet onions, red potatoes, tomatoes, bell and hot peppers, eggplant, green beans, sweet corn, kale, purple hull peas, zucchini, cantaloupes and watermelons, along with homemade jams and jellies. What's in season changes through the year, so call ahead or check their Facebook page for current offerings. Minter's Farm is also home to Inman Farm Heritage Days, held every September (the third full weekend) since 1997. The free three-day event is known for its antique farm tractor displays, along with a working sawmill, syrup mill, moonshine still, pottery kiln, gunsmith and clockworks shops, grist mill, and blacksmiths, all run by volunteers preserving an earlier agrarian way of life. |
