Central Park is one of Forsyth County’s main parks, on Keith Bridge Road (GA 306) northeast of Cumming. Opened in 2001, it has tennis courts, youth and adult ballfields, turf fields, a disc golf course, a paved walking trail and a playground, plus a recreation center with two indoor basketball courts, a fitness room, an indoor walking track and drop-in pickleball. A senior recreation center opened at the park in 2025.

8 tennis courts, 5 youth diamond fields, 4 adult diamond fields, 3 turf rectangle fields and batting cages.
Disc Golf
A disc golf course winds through the park; check with the recreation center about current layout and disc rentals.
Trails & Play
A 1.1-mile paved walking trail, a playground, 3 picnic pavilions and restrooms.
Central Park Recreation Center
The recreation center, opened in 2003 and expanded since, has 2 indoor basketball courts, a cardio and weight room, an indoor walking track, dance, pottery and fitness classrooms, a community room and showers. Drop-in pickleball runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday 3 to 5:45 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 p.m.; call 678-455-8540 for the basketball schedule. Schedules can change.
Rentals
The indoor community room, gymnasiums, outdoor picnic pavilions and tennis courts can be reserved through Forsyth County Parks & Recreation.
Mountain Bike Trail
Central Park’s old 3.75-mile mountain bike trail is no longer listed among the park’s amenities; the county announced it would close when the land went to the county water department.
