Broxton Rocks are a geological wonder in South Georgia, perfect for hikers and complete with rare several species of rare plants. Considered a natural wonder in South Georgia's sandy, coastal plain with plants native to the tropics and the Appalachian mountains -- the Broxton Rocks are part of a 15,000-square-mile band of surface sandstone known as Altamaha Grit, formed by shifts in the earth's tectonic plates eons ago.
