This 1,360-acre park features a wide variety of amenities. Golfers can test their skills on the 18-hole Wallace Adams Course with clubhouse, golf pro and junior/senior discounts.
The 2.6-mile Oak Ridge Trail winds through scrub oaks and pines toward a vulture roost and boardwalk. During summer, children enjoy the park’s splash pad, where they can run through fountains, while the 265-acre Little Ocmulgee Lake draws anglers and paddlers. The park’s lodge and golf course are operated for the state by the North Georgia Mountains Authority and Coral Hospitality.

Staying at Little Ocmulgee
Campsites
Check-in time is 1 p.m. and check-out time is 1 p.m. Pets are allowed on a 6-foot leash. Campsite reservations can be changed one time at no charge with 3 days’ notice; no changes are allowed inside 72 hours of arrival.
Cottages
Check-in is 4 p.m. and check-out is 11 a.m. Cottage capacities cannot be exceeded, and cottages cannot be used for group gatherings. Dogs are allowed only in cottages designated pet friendly (additional fee, reservations required, dogs only).
The Lodge
Check-in is 4 p.m. and check-out is 11 a.m. Pets are not allowed in or around the lodge. Room rates are based on double occupancy, with fees for additional guests.
Group & Picnic Shelters
Check-in is 10 a.m. and check-out is 9:45 p.m. Pick up group shelter keys at the lodge. Cancellations and transfers must be made at least 30 days before arrival; reservations made within 30 days are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Reservations & Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of a reservation must be made at least 3 days prior to arrival to receive a refund; a cancellation/handling fee per reservation will be charged. Changes in arrival date made less than 3 days before arrival count as a cancellation and forfeit the deposit.
7–14 Day Cottage Reservations: Cancellations 30+ days in advance receive a deposit refund minus a cancellation fee. Cancelling less than 30 days but before 72 hours of arrival: you may request a refund, and if the cottage is rebooked for the original dates, the park will issue a full refund minus a cancellation fee. Cancelling within 72 hours of arrival forfeits the one-night deposit.
Security Deposit: Parks may require a security deposit at check-in, refunded if facilities are returned as they were received.
