Birdsong Nature Center is a non-profit nature preserve and education center. The 565 acres have 12 miles of meandering nature trails well suited for casual, peaceful hiking. The variety of woodlands, wetlands, and old-field habitats support many indigenous wildlife and offers an ideal setting for observing the quiet beauty found in many remote areas of SW GA. Grady Cultural Center has an old syrup plant provides 11,000 sq. ft of rental space for year round activities. Representing early 20th century construction, with exposed wood ceilings, huge timbers, exposed brick walls and concrete floor the center is ideal, accommodating up to 1000 people.
