Statewide phone: every center now answers through one statewide Virtual Agent line, (877) 709-8185, instead of a separate local number. The list was checked against the official Georgia DOL location pages in September 2026.

Before You Go: Closures and Changes

DeKalb Career Center: the DeKalb center in Decatur, which has served DeKalb and Rockdale counties, is temporarily closed while it moves to a new facility. The department has said the new location will be announced as details are available. Until then, anyone who needs in-person help can visit any Career Center. Nearby metro Atlanta options are the Atlanta, Clayton County, Covington, and Gwinnett County centers listed below.

Atlanta Career Center: the Courtland Street entrance is closed. Google Maps will send you to the Andrew Young International Blvd entrance once you pass the traffic light.

Call ahead: some centers, such as LaGrange, ask you to schedule an in-person appointment first. Whatever center you plan to visit, call the Virtual Agent line at (877) 709-8185 or check the DOL location page for current hours and any temporary closures before you make the drive.
