The Galleria Specialty Shops Have Closed
The Galleria Specialty Shops, the small indoor shopping mall inside the Cobb Galleria Centre, closed for good on May 31, 2025. The shops were removed to make room for an expansion of the convention center, adding a new two-story entrance, a junior ballroom and more meeting rooms. In October 2025 the venue was renamed Cobb Convention Center-Atlanta.
The convention center itself remains open for trade shows, conferences and events, but there is no longer any retail shopping on site.
