About Us - The Brown family farm is owned by William "Farmer" Brown and his wife, Debra. It has 2,500 acres that produce traditional Southern row crops like cotton and peanuts, plus fruits and vegetables such as tomatoes, string beans, and Elberta peaches.

Over 30 years ago, the Brown family started a roadside stand where they sold peaches from their farm in paper sacks. Over the years the roadside stand was expanded until the current facilities were constructed five years ago. The spacious market now features not only peaches and vegetables, but also a wide array of gourmet foods and home decorating items.

Peaches - We open for the summer when our first variety of peaches get ripe, usually between June 15th-20th and remain open daily until our last variety is finished, usually mid-late August. We grow several varieties of peaches beginning with the semi-freestones in mid-June, and progress quickly into freestones toward the end of the month. Freestones continue then until the last variety is picked in August. We specialize in Elberta peaches and "Elberta type" peaches. We have several especially good varieties that precede our Elbertas. Elbertas usually ripen between July 15th and 20th and continue for 2 t forget your camera, a beautiful photo opportunity awaits you in the zinnia and sunflower field.

A Unique Experience - We offer our customers something different. Come to our market and sit on old church pews, eat peach ice cream and watch the tractors and wagons bringing the peaches fresh out of the orchard. While you are there, walk pass the shed where the peach wagons are parked to our 'you-pick' zinnia and sunflower field. Be sure to bring your clippers and a bucket to carry home your beautiful bouquet.

Our business is based on the Golden Rule. We strive every day to treat our customers the way we want to be treated. We try to only sell products at our farm market we would want in our home. We stand behind everything we sell, and we offer a quality product at a good price.
