Watson Mill Covered Bridge
Known as one of the most picturesque state parks in GA, this 1118-acre park contains the state's longest covered bridge, spanning 229 feet across the South Fork River.

Campgrounds Info
50 foot Campsites hold the following equipment: 1 tent, 2 tents, a pop-up trailer, a trailer or motorhome up to 50'. Has water, 30 AMP electrical service adaptable to 50 amps. Picnic table, grill, fire ring. Comfort Station with washer/dryer. No Cable. Maximum 6 people per site. Maximum 2 Vehicles per site.
Horse Campground - For campers with horses only. 50 Foot Horse Campsites hold the following equipment: 1 tent, 2 tents, a pop-up trailer, a trailer, a trailer up to 50', or a motorhome up to 50'. Has 50 amp electric and water hookups, picnic tables, campfire grills, and can accommodate a variety of trailer rigs and campers. There is a restroom and hot/cold showers in the camping area. Maximum 6 people per site. Maximum 2 vehicles per site.
Horse Camping Buddy Campsites - For campers with horses only. 50 foot Horse campsites hold the following equipment: up to 2 tents (no tent pads), one pop-up trailer, or one trailer up to 50', or one motorhome up to 50'. Has water, 50 amp electrical service, picnic table, grill, and fire ring. No cable hook-up. Comfort station has washer/dryer. Maximum 6 people per site. Maximum 2 vehicles per site.
Pioneer Campsite # 1 - This is a primitive, rugged site intended for groups or individuals. Site is located by itself. Access to campground restroom 200 yards away. Site has water but no electricity. Located in Big Cloud Creek area. Maximum 6 vehicles. Individuals may reserve pioneer sites at Watson Mill.

Pioneer Campsite #2 - This is a primitive, rugged site intended for groups or individuals. Site is located by itself. Site has water but no electricity. Access to campground restroom 200 yards away. Located on Big Cloud Creek next to bridge. Maximum 8 vehicles. Bridge not in service. Individuals may reserve pioneer sites at Watson Mills.
Pioneer Campsite #3 - This is a primitive, rugged site intended for groups or individuals. Site is located by itself. Site has water but no electricity. Access to campground restroom which is 200 yards away. Located in Big Cloud Creek area. Maximum 8 vehicles. Individuals may reserve pioneer sites at Watson Mills.
Log Cabin Bunkhouses
Playground at Watson Mill BridgeBunkhouse #'s 1 & 2 are built in the style of an 1800s dogtrot (2 rooms on each side with breezeway running through the middle). Cottage #3 is a stand along unit. Each bunkhouse has 2 full size beds and 3 futons (one w/single bunk on top). Modern outhouse 30 yds from front porch (flush toilet, sink, hot/cold shower). Has heat/AC, electricity, and refrigerator. Food must be prepared on outside grills. Must bring own linens or sleeping bags. Grill & picnic table just off front porch. Sitting area on front porch. No pets. Located in equestrian area near stables. Can be rented with or with out horses.
Group Shelter
End shelter. Has outdoor BBQ pit, kitchen facilities, tables & chairs, bathroom, and central heat/AC. Private parking area.
Picnic Shelters - All visitors are required to have a parkpass.
Picnic Shelter #1 - Open-sided covered shelter, located at playground, restrooms and nearby shelter #2. Has water, electricity, and grill.
Picnic Shelter #2 - Open-sided covered shelter, located at playground, restrooms and nearby shelter #1. Has water, electricity, and grill. This shelter does not have wheelchair access, requires crossing 3 steps. Has water, electricity, and grill.
Picnic Shelter #3 - Open-sided covered shelter. Location provides view of shoals below dam and covered bridge. Has water, electricity, and grill.

Horse Stables Stalls
Each stall is 10'x 12' and can be locked for security. Keys must be picked up at park office. It is ok to put 2 horses in a stall provided horses get along well. Stalls cannot be rented without a campsite rental in the camping stables. Any horse entering park must have proof of a current negative Coggins test. There is a $3 per rider trail fee.
Group Shelter
End shelter with heat, air conditioning, celing fans, stove, sink, refrigerator, table and chairs, and BBQ pit. Near swimming beach and connected restroom. Handicapped accessible.

Reservations Cancellation Policy
Watson Mill Bridge State Park trails signCancellation of a reservation must be made at least 3 days prior to the date of arrival in order to receive a refund. A cancellation/handling fee per reservation will be charged. Changes in arrival date made less than 3 days prior to the scheduled arrival will constitute a cancellation and forfeit of the deposit. 7-14 day Cottage Reservation Guidelines: All cancellations received 30 days in advance will receive deposit refund minus the $10 cancellation fee per facility.

River at Watson Mill Bridge State ParkIf a customer requests to cancel less then 30 days in advance but before 72 hours of arrival, the customer may request refund in witting to the site. If cottage is rebooked for the time period originally reserved, site will have Customer Service issue a full refund to the customer minus a cancellation fee. If reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of arrival date no refund of the one night deposit will be given. Deposits are required for all reservations. Credit card deposits are posted when the reservation is made.
Check-in - Check-in is between 1 pm and 10 pm and check-out is before 1 pm. Campers must register and present a reservation confirmation before setting up. If you do not arrive on the first night of your stay, you will be counted as a no-show, your reservation will be cancelled, and you will forfeit your deposit.

Reservation Changes (Changes in arrival dates, transfers, etc.) You may make one change without a charge, provided a 3-day notice is given. Additional changes will incur a $10 per reservation handling fee.
