This 4.7 mile trail is suitable for mountain bicycles, motorcycles and ATVs. It is a difficult trail for biking. Beginning along the banks of Falls branch, the loop trail quickly breaks away to start its steady climb to the crest of Tatum Lead.
Rock Creek OHV Trails - General Information
OHV Trail Riding - Reaching the mountain top, the trail merges with the Tatum Lead ORV Trail for a short distance before looping back through oak and history forest to the trailhead. Sections of this trail are steep and rocky. This is a loop trail that offers a challenging riding experience through scenic terrain. Vehicles must be must be less than or equal to 50" wide.

Rock Creek connects with Tatum Lead ORV Trail. Tatum Lead Trail length is 5.5 miles. Trailhead with off-loading ramp located on FS3A Peeples Lake Road.

There is no charge to ride on this trail system.

Note: Helmets are required for motorbikes by State law. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a licensed driver. The consumption of alcohol while operating any type of vehicle is strictly prohibited according to State and Federal law.

The Conasauga Ranger District covers the western third of the Chattahoochee National Forest. A diverse set of landscapes make up the Conasauga district, from the ridges and valleys west of Interstate 75 to the Cohutta Mountains northeast of Chatsworh, GA. This part of the forest offers some of the best scenery and outdoor recreational activities in north Georgia.

Directions: Take GA 52 east from Chatsworth about 1 mile. Turn right onto the Old Federal Road and go 4 miles. Turn left at the Peeples Lake/Rock Creek Trail directional sign onto Forest Service Road 3 and travel 5.9 miles to the trailhead parking lot.
