| Lawrence Shoals Recreation Area fun activities includes boating, swimming, picnicking and camping are offered. It is on Lake Oconee. Lawrence Shoals hasfull-service campgrounds and day-use areas. It has a large picnic pavilion that may be reserved for groups of 30 or more. In addition, it has day-use picnic areas, equipped playgrounds, boat ramps and a beach including a beach house with bathrooms and dressing area. Open: Sun.-Thurs. 7a.m.-9p.m. Fri.-Sat. 7a.m.-10p.m. $3 parking fee. Call for camping fees. Amenities: Parking, Public Restrooms, Accessibility for mobility-impaired. | Rock Eagle 4-H Center is in 1,500 acres of forested land. Home of the largest residential Evirnomental Education Program in the nation, Rock Eagle 4-H Center can serve nearly any size group.
