VSU Public Planetarium Show: Winter Stargazing - 2/3/12 at 8 & 9 pm
Take a tour of the far reaches of the night sky without leaving Valdosta. The shows are designed for the general public and are suitable for ages five and up. If weather permits, the VSU Observatory will be open for public viewing of celestial objects after each show. All shows begin at 8 pm and at 9 pm sharp and usually last 40 to 50 minutes. Seating is limited to 47 visitors for each show and the admission is on a "first-come-first-serve" basis. The planetarium is located in Nevins Hall on the 3rd floor (room 3004). Limited public parking is available in front of Nevins Hall and at the Admissions Office on the opposite side of Patterson Street. Call for more info.
