Since their inception over a century ago, they've maintained the philosophy that Ottawa Farms is more than a "farm". Before "being green" was a popular pastime, they've always tried to be good stewards of the land.
Produce & Christmas Trees - Pick Your Own Strawberries, Blueberries and Blackberries. Watermelons, Onions, Tomatoes, Squash, Sweet Corn and Okra seasonal: call for availability. We sell farm-raised Angus Ground Beef under Ottawa Farms label. No added hormones or antibiotics. Jams, Jellies, Freerange Eggs, Natural Milk and Honey produced on the farm. Strawberry Festival second weekend in April and Corn Maze and Pumpkins October-November. Field Trips during strawberry season and Corn Maze. Christmas Trees for sale Mid November-Mid December.
We open our doors and farm to several groups and events regularly, including: Annual Strawberry Festival, School Groups, Church Groups, Senior Citizen Outings, Civic Groups, Cattle Field Days, Fall Corn Maze.
Host your next Field Trip, Event, or Group Excursion... Ottawa Farms is a wonderful place to host your next group event. The 700 acre farm has a country charm rich with fresh air and wholesome family fun perfect for: School Field Trips, Church Groups, Family Outings, Reunions and Civic Groups.
Class Field Trips: Strawberry Field Trip Consist of a short educational session, a hayride, and a pig race. Each student is given a container to pick strawberries. A coloring/ activity book and sticker (I picked strawberries).
The corn maze trip consist of a short educational session, a hayride to the corn maze, a trip thru the maze, a pig race, a coloring book and a mini pumpkin.
The children may bring their lunch and enjoy it at the farm.
Please call for schduling information and minimum charge to schedule a field trip for 1-20 students, over 20 students will be minimum charge for each additional student, and each for parents or siblings age 3 and older. 2 teachers are allowed per class at no charge.
