Winter Pottery Fest - 2/13 - 2/15/10 at 10 am - 5 pm

During the next century, families passed these skills to younger generations who have created face jugs, decorated ware and animal figures now valued and collected as distinctive folk art. Several folk potters will demonstrate how these traditional methods are used today. Following GA Hwy 255 north from the Museum, turn north on GA Hwy 197 toward Lake Burton to find more demonstrating artists at Hickory Flat Pottery, Cottage Garden Furniture & Burton Gallery and Emporium.
