Memorial Day Weekend Concert - 5/26/17 at 7:30-9pm
Join us for as we kick off Memorial Day weekend with a Friday night concert under the stars. Guest will enjoy live music. Concession stand will be open during the event. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. Located at Beach Pavilion. Costs are $2 per person and $5 parking fee. Red, White & Bluegrass Festival - 5/27/17 at 4-7pm
Entertainment will be Bluegrass, Americana and Blues. Ticket options are: $20 Concert + BBQ Dinner or $5 Concert Only. The BBQ dinner will be complete with pulled pork or pulled chicken, slaw and baked beans and a choice of beverage (beer, wine, tea, soda, coffee or water). We offer one drink per person (must be 21 with valid photo ID to choose beer/wine option). There will be a cash bar for additional beverages. 3rd Annual ClusterFest - 5/27/17 at 11am-6pm
ClusterFest is a celebration of regional musical talent, artisans, wine, and food at Crane Creek Vineyards. Local and regional singer-songwriters will be performing all day at the vineyard. Come for your favorite or listen to them all. Have a glass of wine or two and enjoy the best musical talent to be offered in our area. A cost of $25 per guest includes daily admission, food, wine tasting, shopping local artisans, a souvenir Crane Creek Vineyards wine glass, in addition to a front row seat. Cars & Guitars - 5/27/17 at 10am-12noon
This family-friendly event is a great way to kick-start the summer season! The Classic Car Show registration is $20. This event helps raise money for the Pre-4th Extravaganza fireworks. Street rod, classic car and custom cars will be eligible for trophies. Classic cars must be at least 25 years of age. Vendor spaces are $40. Free fun event for specatators! Piano and Voice Recital - 5/27/17 at 3-5pm
Dr. David Peoples will be presenting local students in his Piano and Voice Recital. Annual Tugaloo River History Tour Canoe/Kayak Paddle - 5/27/17
The paddlers will leave from the Walker Creek boat ramp around 8:30 a.m. for a really cool paddle down the Tugaloo River. The trip is free and all you need to bring is your canoe or kayak and lunch. The paddle will be led by Kelly Vickers who will share the history of the Tugaloo Corridor. The paddlers will break for lunch at Long Nose Creek Falls, continue to the Indian Mound and then on to the take out point. From there, a shuttle will take you back to your cars at Walker Creek. Bavarianfest - 5/27/17 at 6-11pm
Experience a bit of Bavaria while you and your family enjoy this Memorial Day weeked celebration at the Festhalle! A live Oompa Band, dancing and a festive Bavarian atmosphere help us honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Import and domestic beer and wines, wursts on a bun, sauerkraut, hot dogs, pretzels, snacks, and desserts will be available for sale. All active, retired and veterans and a guest get in free. Herrin Compound Super Motocross Racing - 5/27 - 5/28/17 at 10am-5pm
Experience a rush as Herrin Compound hosts super motocross racing with racers from across the Southeast. Herrin Compound is a nine sprint super motocross track. Home to Josh Herrin, 2013 AMA Superbike Champion, Herrin Compound hosts races and events thoughout the year. Herrin Compound is open for practice every Saturday and Sunday for $50 per day. Practice on weekdays by appointment for $100 per day. Races are held once a month for all skill levels. Practice starts on Saturday with races starting on Sunday. $5 for parking. A Day at the Fort - 5/27 & 5/28/17 at 10am-4pm
"A Day at the Fort" will be held at historical 1793 Fort Hollingsworth-White House. Entertainment will include music, storytelling, a Civil War re-enactment, tours of the fort, living history, antique car show, arts and crafts, and food, including BBQ and fried pies. "Best of Georgia" Winemaker's Dinner - 5/28/17 at 6:30-10pm
Join us for an Alfresco Winemaker's Dinner. This event will feature the culinary art of Gayle and David Darugh, named Best Chefs America at the Beechwood Inn in Clayton, and four Stonewall Creek Vineyards wines, including our 2014 Boriana (dry Petit Manseng), which took Best of Competition, Best Vinifera and Best White Vinifera (100% Georgia Grown) and our 2014 Cabernet Franc, tapped as Best Red Vinifera (100% Georgia Grown), at the 2016 Georgia Trustees Wine Challenge. Stonewall Creek's 2014 Malbec and 2016 Yukari Rosé will also be served. The 2014 Boriana is from our "wine library" and sold out over a year ago. Limited seating and reservations required. Memorial Day Paddle - 5/29/17 at 4-6pm
Enjoy a kayak outing with family looking for wading birds and raptors. Open to anyone who can swim. Kids must be 6 or older and with an adult. Equipment will be provided. Meet at the boat ramp. Bring water, a flashlight, and binoculars (if possible). Bring your own kayak or rent here. Costs are: $15 with personal kayak. $25 with rental, and $5 parking fee. Pre-registration required.
