Enter a world of paparazzi, crooked lawyers, criminals, and all that jazz! Based on a 1926 play about Prohibition-era Chicago, the story follows the trial of Roxie Hart, accused of the murder of her lover. Working the press to avoid the death sentence, Roxie comes into competition with Velma Kelly, accused of killing her husband and sister. Told through song and dance styled after the burlesques houses of the 1920s, this is one of Bob Fosse's greatest collaborations with John Kander and Fred Ebb. Cost is $20 per person. Lichtmond: Universe of Light - 4/28/17 at 6-10pm
Lichtmond is a poetic journey through magic sounds and landscapes of a visionary parallel universe, on a world you may call "Earth 2", which is orbited by two suns. As Earth 2 is untouched by mankind, we are immersed in a world full of hovering trees, strange species of flying fish, bubble-like volcanos, surreal sculptures and other impressive objects. This amazing musical audiovisual trip is wellness for the senses and features award-winning music by Lichtmond featuring Alan Parsons, I Muvrini and Boy George (as co-writer). Archery for Beginners - 4/29/17 at 3-5pm
Learn the basics of archery and see if this hobby is right for you. We will provide all the equipment needed to be hitting the bulls-eye in no time. You'll learn a new skill and get in shape. Must be age 9+ to participate. Program is outdoor and weather permitting. Register in advance. Costs are $10 per person and $5 parking fee.

Dusk Hike and Scorpion Hunt - 4/29/17 at 8-9pm
Join us on the East River Trail as we listen for wildlife and seek glowing insects with black light flashlights. Meet at the Picnic Shelter #5. Wear sturdy walking shoes and bring water. Macro-invertebrate Madness - 4/30/17 at 12noon-4pm
Come down to the Farm Pond to look up close and personal at some of the macroscopic creatures that are essential to life in and around Georgia's waterways. This event t is open to all ages. If you would like to help look for critters, please wear close toed water shoes or boots.

Lost Prevention and Fire Starting - 4/30/17 at 1-2pm
Getting lost in the wilderness is no laughing matter. Are you prepared to tough it out until rescue teams find you? Bring the family to the amphitheater to learn the no-nonsense tools and steps necessary to avoid getting lost, and help make you comfortable while you wait it out.
