Ghost Tours by Lantern Light
2017-10-28 7:00PM - 10:00PM

There's more to Statesboro than meets the eye. At least, that's the story that the Averitt Center is hoping to tell guests at this year's Ghost Tours by Lantern Light. This Halloween tradition has been taking place for seven years, taking patrons on a journey into the dark and creepy underbelly of Statesboro's history. Statesboro's most haunted stories and locations will be told through first-hand accounts from ghosts as the Averitt STARS and Bulloch County Historical Society bring back the annual Ghost Tours event. Over the course of a half hour, guests will venture to different sites around downtown Statesboro and hear the history behind nine local venues which seem to have activities much too strange to explain with human errors or simple mistakes. Be ready for a good scare while you learn some facts about Statesboro that you never knew, and that you probably won't forget! And don't be frightened if you see some of our ghosts seeking to reconnect with the living . . .

General Admission $8.00
