Chehaw Park - 229-430-5275 - Philema Road (Georgia Hwy 91 N) Albany, GA
Park Amenities: Elevated boardwalks and paths through more than 100 acres of Georgia's piney woods let you get a close up glimpse of both native and exotic animals roaming in natural habitats. Chehaw Wild Animal Park is located within The Parks at Chehaw, an 800-acre recreation facility.

While visiting Chehaw you can also enjoy creek side nature and biking trails; RV, tent and
primitive camp sites; the Wiregrass Express miniature train; and picnic pavilions.
New features include the Play Park with an adventure flair and a Bike Track for serious BMX
fans. Since it opened the Play Park has become one of the most popular features
in the area.

Tent/Trailer/RV Chehaw Park has 46 water and electrical hook-ups (30 amp max.).
Separate showers for men and women are located in the bath house. A washer and dryer is also
located in the bath house. The dump station is located just behind the bath house. The
screened-in pavilion is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, double sink, fireplace, picnic
tables and ceiling fans. There is a conveniently located playground within the camping area.
Gas, picnic supplies and snack foods are just 5 minutes away on Philema Road. All park
facilities are accessible to campers. Chehaw Wild Animal Park is available during posted hours
of operation at an additional admission fee. Occupancy Limits Individual campsite occupancy is
limited to one immediate family. Two automobiles and one of the following are also allowed at
each campsite: motor home, tent, pop-up trailer, travel trailer, or pickup w/ mounted camping
rig. Maximum length of stay is 14 consecutive days. Pets are welcome but should be kept on
a leash. Pets must be accompanied by their owner at all times.
