Shields-Ethridge Heritage Farm is an outdoor historical museum. Open to public (by appointment) and hosts regular, scheduled seminars and tours that showcase the Farm's historic buildings, including a cotton gin, blacksmith shop, fully-stocked commisary, wheat house, gristmill and restored schoolhouse. All of these historic, agricultural buildings lie in their original lcoation amid 150 acres of historic farmland originally established in 1800. Plan to visit during annual May "Mule Day".
