Alto Park - Park Amenities: The 68 acre park provides centralized site for community softball services in Floyd County. The 10 court, lighted tennis center is open for public play and also facilitates local USTA League play and tournaments. The park also offers support amenities to include shaded picnic and playground facilities, a picnic pavilion, outdoor stage, volleyball court, open space areas, and trails. Through a valued partnership with Shorter College, the lower fields of Alto Park were recently redeveloped into the Lower Alto Tri-Plex Fast Pitch Complex, home to the Lady Hawks Softball Team. Armuchee Park - Park Amenities: Located on Armuchee Creek, this scenic 31 acre park offers outdoor basketball courts, fishing, creek, picnic shelter, playground, 3 softball/ baseball fields, and 2 unlighted tennis courts. This park is located off Jones Mill Road and offers plenty of green space for freeplay. This park also serves as a practice facility for youth sports teams.

Banty Jones Park & Fielder Center - Park Amenities: This park is named after a Banty Jones, an active Rome citizen who used to run a gas station nearby who was very involved in the community. The park features several fields for local sports games and practices. The Fielder Center is not located directly in the park, but is just a couple blocks down on Crane Street beside the elementary school. Etowah Park - Youth Sports Complex & Senior Recreation Center - Amenities: 107 acres of enjoyment consisting of a Senior Adult Recreation Center, Golf Practice Facility, Etowah Youth Sports Complex (six field lighted youth baseball/softball/t-ball fields), 8 lighted tennis courts with central control building, outdoor skate center, paved trails, restroom facilities, concession stands, playgrounds, and picnic shelter. Etowah Sports Complex is a lighted six field complex consisting of four youth baseball and softball fields and 2 youth t-ball fields, concession stand, restrooms, and central service facility. This complex hosts the youth sports leagues of the Authority and GRPA District and State tournaments. It is one of the busiest parks in Rome, GA. Garden Lakes Park & Anthony Recreation Center - Amenities: This 38 acre park consists of the Horace Anthony Recreation Center, gymnasium, outdoor basketball courts, multi-purpose field, lake, picnic areas, accessible playground, restrooms, softball/baseball fields, an unlighted tennis court, paved trails, volleyball court, skateboarding/in-line skating areas and rental opportunities. Heritage Park - Amenities: This 8 acre park, situated at the confluence of the Etowah and Oostanaula rivers. It offers a most aesthetically pleasing, passive recreation opportunity to residents of Rome and Floyd County. The park consists of a gazebo, picnic shelters, playground, fishing, river access, and paved walking trails. It is located within walking distance of downtown Rome and is located between Riverview Park and the Bridge Point Plaza green space.

Lock & Dam Park at the Coosa River Campground Park - Amentities: This 73-acre park is on the National Registry of Historical Landmarks and offers some of the best crappie and stripper fishing in North GA. The 127-acre Coosa Nature Preserve adjoins the property, and the Nature Center hosts a family of reptile and animal displays. This park provides a great setting for group gatherings and outdoor educational opportunities for children. The park has 33 scenic RV ready campsites with picnic shelters, a large picnic shelter (300-person capacity) for large rental groups, the Coosa River Trading Post (a convenience fishing and camping supply store), an exhibition center, environmental education, river fishing and boat access ramp. Other amenities include: amphitheater, fishing pier, horseshoe pits, various picnic shelters, playground, restrooms, shower and laundry facility, nature trails, an observation overlook for wildlife viewing, and volleyball court. Northside Swim Center - Amentities: The Northside Swim Center features a newly refurbished pool and twirling slide with splash area. Other poolside amenities include concessions, playground and picnic pavilions. The pool is open Monday through Saturday for Open Swim and is available daily for rentals during the swim season. Ridge Ferry Park - Amentities: This 60-acre park has a multi-purpose pavilion and concert stage, fishing and river access, 4 picnic shelters, playgrounds, Disc Golf, river, restroom, natural and paved trails, 2 sand volleyball courts, wetlands demonstration area, large playground surrounded by pavilions, and rowing-storage facility. Ridge Ferry Park also hosts the Farmer’s Market, Rome Rowing Club, Heritage Holidays events, concerts and many major community events. The North side known as the Shoals area hosts two smaller pavilions and a small playground. Ridgeferry is also the Home of Trout Unlimited Chili Cookoff and CHAHI Arts Festival. Riverview Park Youth Sports Complex - Amentities: This 34 acre park is located behind the levee on the Coosa River, and consists of a Youth Sports Complex to include a 4-field Baseball Complex, 2 Field Football-Soccer Complex, playground and Legion Baseball Field, all lighted and equipped with concession stands, restrooms, and public address systems. This Complex hosts Youth Activities Baseball, and the Unified Youth Football program and Legion Field is the home of the Rome High Wolves Baseball Team.

Rolator Park - Amentities: Visitors may enjoy the cave, playground, 6 covered pavilions or many picnic tables spread under majestic trees. Step back in time when Cave Spring's natural limestone cave was being created, with its impressive stalagmites and legendary "Devil's Stool" formation. You'll welcome its constant, 57-degree coolness on a hot summer's day. The Cave, located in Rolater Park just off the town square, is open daily from May through September, and by appointment at other times.
