Continue straight on GA-85 towards Riverdale and turn left at the stop light onto Hwy 279. Continue straight on Hwy 279 and Kenwood Park will be approximately 1 mile on the right. There is one entrance into the park.

Kedron Recreation and Aquatic Center is a multi-purpose facility. It contains 2 activity rooms for classes and meetings with an additional game room. The facility also contains two full courts separated with a mesh curtain for both basketball and volleyball. The facility includes a 25 yard competitive swimming pool and a heated instructional pool with guards on duty at all times. Restrooms, showers, changing areas, and storage areas are available to all patrons. The facility is fully staffed during hours of operation. Amenities Available: Pools (year round), Multipurpose/Inline Hockey Rink, Restrooms, Fieldhouse (Gymnasium), Classroom Spaces, Game Room, Playground. Lake Horton Park is on Fayette County's largest reservoir. Lake Horton Park is 40 acres and offers paved walking trails, boat ramps, picnic areas and fishing. No swimming, skiing, scuba diving or other bodily contact with the water is allowed. The park offers complete picnic facilities, restrooms and drinking fountains. Open from dawn to dusk.

Directions from Atlanta: Traveling South on Interstate 75, exit on Hwy. 85 (Riverdale exit). Go approximately 15 miles and turn left on Hwy. 54 East (Fayette County Historic Courthouse will be on your left). Go to 2nd traffic light (approximately 2 miles) and turn right on McDonough Rd. Take the 1st driveway on the left and the soccer fields will be directly in front, softball & football fields will be the 2nd driveway. The picnic pavilion is the 3rd driveway on the left.

McIntosh Trail Recreation Complex is a 50 acre McIntosh Trail Recreation Complex is located in the heart of Peachtree City and is the hub for many of the City’s special events throughout the year. The complex is home to the Recreation Administration headquarters, The Gathering Place senior center, a large picnic pavilion, walking trails, a skateboard ramp, a BMX track and the Peachtree City Dog Park. The complex is also the starting point for the Flat Creek Nature Preserve and is the home of the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater.

The Gathering Place
The Gathering Place is primarily a senior citizens facility, containing a large multi-purpose room, a smaller multi-purpose room equipped with a big screen television and VCR, a small sitting room, a kitchen with oven, refrigerator, sinks and ice maker. The multipurpose rooms can be rented for private occasions. The facility is just seconds away from the Flat Creek Nature Center, Shakerag Knoll and the Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater.

Peachtree City Dog Park
Our fenced off-leash park is located on two acres in the heart of Peachtree City and is open to Fayette County residents. It has a wood chipped base, trees and a gazebo for shade, and cleared areas for free running of the dogs. There is approximately 1 3/4 acres which is recommended for dogs over 30 pounds, the remaining in a separate fenced in area for small and senior dogs only. We now have a water fountain, but you may want to bring a water bowl. Park is run by volunteers. Fenced off-leash park, Water fountain, Large Dog Area, Small/Senior Dog Area. Directions: From the intersection of Highway 74 and Highway 54 in Peachtree City - Go South on Highway 74. Turn left on Kelly Drive. You will pass the dam for Lake Peachtree and the road will turn into McIntosh Trail. The recreation complex is just past the lake on the right. Turn right into the parking lot. The Dog Park is at the far end of the parking lot.

William Davis BMX Track
The bicycle track offers scheduled races and events. At unscheduled times, the area is an unsupervised area and can be used by residents with proper safety equipment. Meade Memorial Park has 7 Softball Fields (lighted), 2 Soccer Fields (lighted), Concessions, Restrooms. Open: Dawn to Dusk 7 days a week except for special events
