| Parks and Recreation Facilities |
Acworth Sports Complex is 42 acres and is divided into a north and a south side. Proctor Creek is the dividing line. This complex has 6 baseball fields, two football fields, multiple practice areas, batting cages, restrooms, two concession stands and parking. The complex is home to the Acworth Baseball Association and the Acworth Football and Cheerleading Association Annual Events include the APRD Football Camp, the APRD Baseball Camp, APRD Softball Camp, the Acworth Baseball Association's Opening Day Celebration, the Acworth Football Association Homecoming. The Sports Complex is the future home of the Acworth Special Needs Field. The complex accommodates players, ages five through 14 for baseball and five through 12 for football. Open Park hours are from 7 am to 11 pm.

Baker Plantation Park is a 1 half-acre neighborhood park located in the Baker Plantation subdivision located off Baker Road near the intersection of Cowan Road. The park contains a playground, 2 grills and a picnic pavilion. The pavilion can be used on a first-come-first-served basis. The park hours are from sunrise to sunset.

Bobby Van Newberry Park - 770-917-1234 -South Main Street, Acworth
Park Amenities: 12 acre park that contains two baseball fields and two parking lots. The park is home to the Acworth Baseball Association. The park contains two baseball fields: the Pinto Field for ages 7 and 8 and the Senior Field for ages 13 and 14. |
Cauble Park (Acworth Beach) is a 25-acre park with fishing points, public restrooms, boating ramp (for electric motor driven boats only), boardwalk, abeach, volleyball net, rental facilities, 2 playgrounds, and an open play area. Rental facilities include four pavilions, a lakeside gazebo, and a beach house. There is no lifeguard on duty at the beach and the swimming area opens at sun up and closes at sun down. There is a parking fee only on the weekends from 8:30 a.m. to 6 pm. between Memorial Day and Labor Day. No pets are allowed on beach areas.
Cauble Park has the Veterans Memorial at Patriots Point. It also features a series of trails that connect Collins Circle to the park and a new addition has been added to the south side of the park that features a boardwalk that crosses the lake and connects to Winn Street.
Cauble Park has many annual events including the Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Concert Series, Acworth Elementary Spring Fling, ski competitions, and our Fourth of July fireworks show. Opens at 7 am and closes at 11 pm from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.

Once you are on Glade Rd. go to the second stop light (Bojangle’s will be on your left), turn right onto Lake Acworth Drive (Hwy 92). Turn left at the caution light (West Lakeshore Drive). Go to the second stop sign and turn right onto Academy Street. Follow Academy Street until you see a sign on your left that reads “Cauble Park”. You will see the parking lot and the beach house. |

Dallas Landing Park is an 82 acre park that overlooks Lake Allatoona with a beach, group pavilion, picnic tables, grills, volleyball court, horse shoe pit, and public restrooms. The group pavilion is available for rental. Dallas Landing is open from mid April to mid September. There is a $5 parking fee everyday.

| Frana Brown Park is The quarter of an acre park contains a fountain and benches for relaxation. Frana Brown Park opens at 7 am and closes at 11 pm. The downtown park also has the original bell from the Acworth Methodist Episcopal Church South. The church congregation was established in 1905.The park can be rented for weddings or other small gatherings for $25 plus a deposit of $10. Reservations for Frana Brown Park are on a first come, first serve basis. Rental and deposit payments must be made at the time of reservation. Logan Farm Park is a 50-acre passive park containing a lighted one-third mile walking track along with a 3/4 mile nature trail that connects to Cowan Road and Terrace Drive Park. The park also has a half-acre fishing pond, a multipurpose recreational field, public restrooms, playground, and the Parks and Recreation Offices. Logan Farm Park is an excellent place to picnic, fly a kite, fish, throw a Frisbee or to just have a day out with the family. Logan Farm Park opens at 7 am and closes at 11 pm. Logan Farm Park is home to the annual Family Fun Day in March and the Halloween Carnival in October.

| Newberry Park is a 12-acre park containing two baseball fields, two concession stands, two parking lots and three batting cages. Newberry Park is home to the Acworth Baseball Association's Senior League. The two baseball fields that Newberry Park contains are the Pinto / Shetland practice field for ages four through eight and the historic Coats and Clark Field for ages 13 through 16.
