Riverblast -
7/4/2008 at 2 pm - 9:30 pm
Activities include an arts/crafts bazaar, a variety of musical entertainment,
dance and activities for the entire family to enjoy. There will also be a
patriotic concert held in the Jessye Norman Amphitheater. The evening will
conclude with Cannon Firing and a spectacular fireworks display. Food and

Washington Road until it turns into Calhoun Expressway, follow to it ends at
12th street. Continue to 9th street, turn left, at second red light turn right

Back Roads & Bikes Charity Poker Run - 8/2/2008 at 11:30 am - 3
pm
This day is for motorcycle enthusiasts, who would like to
ride country roads and enjoy the scenic views of east central Georgia. Bikers
may register that day from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Warren County Courthouse. The
ride begins at 11:30 a.m. sharp. Rest stops at sites on interest along the
route. All participants will meet at last stop for prizes. Cost: $20.00 for

Learn how our ancestors used nature to survive as park rangers discuss wild

Westobou Festival - 9/18 - 9/27/2008 at 7-10 pm
Celebrating excellence in the arts and showcasing Augusta's wealth of artistic
talent! 10 days of performances by local, regional, and nationally-recognized
individuals and groups including dance, music, theatre, and visual arts. Many

An Evening of Something Classical - 10/14/2008 at 7:30-9 pm
Warren County Community Chorus presents a semi-formal event, complete with a
string ensemble, with music from a classical era or single composer. Begun in
2006 with An Evening of Baroque: Music from 1650-1750, and then in 2007 with An
Evening of Classic: Music from 1750-1850, The Chorus is providing an educational

Campsite Decorating Contest

Campers are invited to decorate their sites during the park's Fall Fest weekend.
Sites will be judged during daylight hours on originality, creativity and theme.
The winner will win a free two-night stay in a Mistletoe cottage. $3 parking.

8th Annual Cane Grinding

Watch cane being ground, buy a jar of cane syrup, and sample the juice before it
is turned into syrup. Afterward, explore our covered bridge/grist mill, walk our
hiking trails, fish and see our beautiful cypress trees changing their fall
