The Roy E. Parks Playground is the newest addition to the City of Auburn's ongoing effort to provide safe and clean places for our children to play. Park is located on the corner of 5th St. and 3rd Ave., across from the city's new library in beautiful downtown Auburn Georgia.
The Recreational Field - The cities youth playing baseball there and is easy to find at night by the glowing lights. Located: on Mary Carter Road, behind the Durdens Plant.
R. H. Burel Park is one of the most prominent parks in Auburn. It is most noted for the bright red caboose, which is located on the west side of the park. The caboose was donated to the city by CSX railroad. Located: right on Fourth Ave. right in the Auburn Georgia downtown area.
James Shackelford Park offers camping areas with shelters, and a beautiful nature trail which circle's the park. It is located at the intersection of Brown's Bridge Rd and Apalachee Church Rd.

Winder Picnic Pavilion accomodates over150 people and is perfect for family reunions, barbecues and other large outdoor gatherings. The Pavilion provides covered seating with picnic tables, a large barbecue pit, small grills, outdoor kitchen facilities and bathroom facilities. An uncovered picnic table with a small grill and four picnic tables is also available under a grove of stately old oak trees nearby.
